Trend setter?
Cole built this bike a few years ago and it was huge. There was some dispute about whether he was the original idea behind the bike but it sure brought a new style to choppers. Harleys no come with small wind deflectors. &0's racing style born again.

Showed my old man this pic and he remembers when it was a show car in the late 70's. He said it had been re-done over the years but hand't seen it in a while.

Inspiration
I find stuff like this inspiring. Found this ol girl on ebay and was in love. Bikes like these dont need much, a touch up and some paint work and you have one period correct chopper. You dont need a harley to have a chopper.

Aussie harley
Taken at the nos drags. Seems to be the same sorta thing with vintage aussie power. Im sure theres loads of pnaheads and knuckles in our land its just a matter of knowing the right people which sucks!

Still deciding
Im still thinking about a van. Im too pussy to get a bedford for my previous history with unreliability of vintage engine power. So i would have to get a jap van. But will it look cool? to custom or not to custom. Anyone got ideas?

Notice the jap triple? another reason for a great period. Multi-engined bikes. No not two engines on one bike but the amount of different engines that were used for showstoppers. Like today well a couple of years ago it was just harleys! but the period correct bikes are changing that!

Long day
First the early call, then the harassment from the girl. Use the credit card but no money so no food. Now I get the usual stare from society. I get agitated so I go home to hide. What a shit day.
I suit up, grab the keys and turn the bike over. The sound blurs my thoughts. I’m in my element. First gear, second gear and I hit the road jack and I won’t come back until it all......... goes...... away.

With the retro huge and the modern small whats next is a hard question to answer concerning the motorcycle industry. Why do we like new or old styles and why not? I guess im just a sheep but i like the period perfect bikes at the moment more then the cutting edge ones because i JUST do.

You don't need to be outlaws to start a club, or have a back patch. If you have mates with the same ideals and thoughts as you start a social chopper club. Have meetings, embrace your brotherhood and practise a dieing culture.
